Sam Carreon is a second-generation contractor and the CEO and Founder of Carreon Contractors LLC, bringing more than 40 years of experience in flooring and residential remodeling. Since starting his career in San Antonio in 1984, Sam has earned a reputation for quality craftsmanship, hands-on leadership, and a customer-first approach.
In 2000, Sam founded The Carpet Store and expanded his offerings in 2002 with Granite Store Direct. Today, he leads projects across the Dallas–Fort Worth, San Antonio, and Houston metro areas, specializing in granite and quartz surfaces, cabinetry, flooring, and kitchen and bath renovations. Sam lives in Midlothian with his wife, Linda, and they have two sons.

Samuel V. Carreon Sr. has been married to his wife, Rosalinda, for 56 years. Since 1970, he has owned and operated a successful contracting business specializing in flooring and home remodeling throughout the San Antonio metropolitan area and continues to remain actively involved in the business today.
Together, Samuel and Rosalinda built not only a strong family foundation, but also a family legacy in the industry. Their two sons, Sam Jr. and Matt, along with their daughter, Valerie, are also actively involved in the flooring and remodeling business.

Samuel (Sammy) Carreon III is an electrical professional with eight years of experience in the fiber optics industry and a strong background in hands-on contracting work. After graduating from Midlothian High School in 2017, he began working alongside his father and has continued to support the family business on weekends through flooring, remodeling, and other construction projects. Sammy currently works in the electrical field and is pursuing his Journeyman Electrician license. Known for his work ethic and commitment to family values, he remains dedicated to helping grow the business and leading the Carreon Contractors LLC business.

Professional BackgroundLance Carreon is a dedicated professional rooted in Midlothian, Texas, renowned for its status as the “Cement Capital of the World.” Lance graduated from Midlothian High School in 2021, embarking on his career by joining his father in the family business. This early immersion provided Lance with invaluable hands-on experience in the remodeling industry, fostering both practical skills and a strong work ethic.
To further enhance his expertise, Lance attended Lincoln Tech, where he completed comprehensive HVAC training. His commitment to broadening his skill set led him to work with air conditioning companies, gaining practical knowledge in HVAC systems. During this period, Lance also learned plumbing, a capability that has become instrumental in supporting Carreon Contractors LLC’s diverse remodeling and contracting projects.
Current RolePresently, Lance works for Martin Marietta, a leading company in Midlothian’s cement industry. Despite his professional obligations, Lance remains actively involved in the family business during his spare time and weekends. He contributes to granite fabrication, countertop installations, deliveries, plumbing, HVAC services, and various remodeling efforts. These ongoing experiences allow Lance to continuously refine his skills and deepen his industry expertise.

His aspiration is to gain more experience and ultimately help lead and expand the company alongside his brother, ensuring the continuation of the legacy established by their father. Family is the cornerstone of Lance’s life. He is married to Savannah, and together they are the proud parents of two daughters, ages two and five. The Carreon family cherishes their close bonds, with Lance’s father enjoying his role as a devoted grandfather. Lance’s commitment to both his professional and personal life underscores his values of integrity, hard work, and community.

David P. Marshall serves as CFO and Operations Manager at Carreon Contractors, leading financial strategy and operational execution to support profitable growth. He oversees budgeting and forecasting, cash-flow management, cost controls, and financial reporting, while building scalable operating processes, strengthening internal controls, and driving disciplined project and resource planning across the organization.
With more than 30 years of leadership experience in security, operations, and international program management, including 20 years in the U.S. Army and 13 years in Special Forces; Mr. Marshall brings a mission-focused approach to performance management, risk mitigation, and complex stakeholder environments. He is a founding member of Mass Effect Group, a veteran business committee and conglomerate, and he also serves as Chief Executive Custodian for Pineland Solutions LLC and Pineland Global Group International LLC, supporting strategic development, operational planning, and risk reduction initiatives.
He resides in San Antonio with his wife, Rhonda (Carreon) Marshall and they have a blended family of 5 children.

Melissa Perez is a San Antonio native and graduate from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelors Degree in Multidisciplinary Studies. She is a mother of two daughters.
Melissa’s experience spans from 15+ years in Financial Services with USAA FSB, Wachovia Bank & Bank of America to Sales & Marketing as an Occupational Health Coordinator for Iraan General Hospital. She has been an American Heart Association Instructor for over 5+ years and certified hundreds of individuals as a result.

Matthew (Matt) Carreon is a Houston area construction and renovation professional with more than 35 years of hands-on experience in building, remodeling, and residential design. From humble beginnings working beside his brother and father, he carried the knowledge, skills and abilities to the Houston area. Based in the region for the past 26 years, Matt has earned a reputation for high-quality kitchen, bathroom, and flooring renovations; combining practical construction expertise with a designer’s attention to proportion, finish, and function. Known for meticulous craftsmanship and an eye for the details that elevate a space, he guides clients through each phase of a project with clear communication, reliability, and respect for their home.
Matt and his wife, Kimberly Carreon, have proudly called Houston home for over two decades, and his work reflects a longstanding family tradition of building and improving spaces that serve the people who live in them.
